Who We Are
We are both authors living in Oregon. We have enjoyed developing and writing two books for Arcadia Publications. |
Rebecca Harrison was born and raised in Oregon. Her first book, Child Abuse: A Guide for Professionals was co-authored with Jean Edwards and published in 1983 by Ednick Publications. She released her first maritime book, Deep Dark and Dangerous: On the Bottom with the Northwest Salvage Divers, in 2006, by Booksurge, LLC. Some of her most recent books were written with her friend, Daniel Cowan, these include Canby, published in 2016, and Portland's Maritime History published in January 2014; both are from the Images of America series, by Arcadia Publishing.
Another fascinating maritime book Rebecca released was, Aboard the Portland: A History of the Northwest Steamers, 2016, published by Create Space. In her latest book, Travels with Kimchi, published in 2021, Rebecca writes about her travels in South Korea, the people, culture, language, and eating kimchi three times day. Daniel Cowan is a stickler for proper grammar and layout. His technical assistance makes these Arcadia books very readable and interesting.
